In the family based categories, all categories advanced, even if some did so by just a few days.

In the employment based categories, there was no movement except for the EB2 and EB3 categories for China, the EB3 and Other Worker categories for India, and the EB3 category for Mexico. The EB2 and EB3 categories for China, the EB3 and Other Worker categories for India, and the EB3 category for Mexico advanced.

The Department of State says “The receipt of demand from Citizenship and Immigration Services Offices has far exceeded their earlier indications of cases eligible for immediate processing. As a result, it has been necessary to hold most of the Employment cut–off dates for November. At this time, it is not possible to provide any estimates regarding future cut–off date movements.”
