The “Final Reviews” processing times are for cases that were not audited. The “Audits” processing times are for cases that were audited.

Nurse Case In the Media

Client’s have been calling our office regarding news reports in the ethnic media of a nurse adjustment of status case that they feel will help their own case. There is only one recently decided case involving adjustment of status by a nurse (Thelma Lopez Figueras v. Eric H. Holder, Jr., Attorney General of the United States No. 08-3367 (7th Cir.)), and that case is highly fact specific. In other words, it does not help the vast majority of nurses.
